C drive getting too big need to delete extra files or clutter

Hi,

I reecntly used Macrium reflect to clone my old HDD to SSD in a new computer. The new computer has Win 7 64 Bit professional verses win 7 64 bit Ultimate in old computer.
However, I find that the C drive has become large nearly 200Gb and i suspect that I have some duplicates or trash on my SSD.

Please help in cleaning up this drive without deleting important files.

Cloning a old system into a new system will not work well at all.
If the old system was anything other that Retail Windows 7 you will also need a new COA key to activate.

The dirvers and chipset will be different between the old computer and the new computer in most cases.

New computer should have a Clean Install of Windows 7 and the programs you so desire.

Complete this tutorial by Golden so members can have a look.

Drive (0) 931 gb
Partition (C) 302 gb/98 gb free space

**Is Drive (0) a SSD or a Hard Drive??

So if I understand correctly you are wondering why your (C) partition has 200gb used already. Is that correct?

Yes Drive is SSD, and I am wondering why my C drive which only is used for OS and programs is OF 200 GB

You haven't told us how much space was used by C on the old computer.

Have you attempted any type of disk cleanup, with Windows built-in tool or any other tool?

As Layback Bear says, moving a system from one PC to another is asking for trouble at a minimum and can be outside Microsoft's licensing agreement, depending on the type of Windows license you have.

You can use Paragon Adaptive Restore for moving Windows across motherboards - http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/292068-make-windows-7-bootable-after-motherboard-swap.html

However, you have to sort licensing if you are using OEM Windows.

It's pretty simple to me.
You took 200gb from the old drive and installed them on the new SSD. That is why their is 200gb on the new 1 T SSD.
