Ongoing problem that has been addressed before. Just wondering if there are any new remedies to the issue. I've had it in to the "pro's" twice but they can't fix it. Windows 7 pro. All audio either streaming or music on the hard drive stutters very badly. Oh, yes, the mouse also stutters.
Nothing new that I'm aware of. Many things can cause this, even a problem in the power supply according to Realtek.

Understood but I'm at my wits end with this. I've spent a bunch of money on speakers to listen to my music and I can't. The people who built the computer can't fix it. What's worse is the stuttering is intermittent. Sometimes I do a restart and it's fine for awhile, but it always comes back. I'll keep trying to find it.
