Help certificate out of date

hi,
when connecting to any vpn on my laptop i get error 0x800B0101. Can anyone help, this never used to happen. When i move the date / time back a month the vpn's continue to work, but the error appears once at current time / date from time.windows.com. any idea on how to fix this outdated certificate, i need thease vpn's. (SSTP protocol)

Does it work if you set time to yesterday as well? Perhaps the VPN servers are at fault?

I will give it a try, it happens to all sstp servers i connect to. Moving the date back 2 weeks (the last tine i used it fully) fixes it. It seems odd that such important certificates have become invalid. I bet its part of M$ saying f*** you win 7 users, get win 10

That didnt work either . I dont think its vpn server side since it does it to all vpn's, i need this fixed

Putting the date back is the only thing working atm. But i shouldnt have to do that. What do i do now

I still dont get why M$ wouldnt bother to update the certificates? And now win 7 is in extended support i cant ask them for help

Most mentions of the error code on the Net (at least the relevant ones) call for a date/time problem on the client. Are you sure date/timezone etc is set correct?

Yes. I synced it multiple times

As far as I know, syncing does not correct date and timezone but only the time.

Out of ideas, will post if I come up with anything else.

If you need this VPN for your work place you could contact your work place and see if their is a problem at their end and request help once you have verified all aspect of your systems time as suggested.

Ive checked if its on their end. They arnt sure eitger

hi might not be the best suggestion. but is the time right in bios? might consider spending 5 dollers on a new cmos battery. strainger things has happened.
