Hi W7 forum people,
Here is my story,
I was connecting my sd card from new trail camera and the disk would now connect or at least the explorer would not recognize it. I use a Lexar card reader. I tried to restart computer but it just got stuck with the timer wheel circling. The computer would not shut down after several minutes so I decided to hold the power button down.
When it restarted I got the BSOD, but didn't catch the code, only that it was shutting off to prevent damage to computer components. I trying a couples times to restart but there was no bios or anything, just a blank screen at this point. I didn't know if the whole computer failed or what. I put this computer together with the support of a friend. I decided to use my startup repair software, I did a restore. Everything checked out successful and all error codes shown were 0x0. I shut down computer again to connect the remaining devices.
I would like to know what to do now since I checked and ran Startup Repair software? Is there some log file to check to see why I got the BSOD. If so, where might it be located? I also use or installed XP mode, not sure if that matters.
Thank you for your help.
Regards Mark H. U.
