Hello All.
I have had this BSOD 6 times in the last week. Every time i was playing ESO.
I was getting bad sound lag and distortion in game and after running

malware check
ccleaner
nvidia latest drivers then rolled back to last ones
Uninstall gpu clean all nvidia files off system and redo
memtest
3dmark
furmark
update windows
I received no results indicating any problems.
I then removed the new gtx 960 and put in my old gt550ti and for 3 days it ran fine...till today.
I have tried to stress the system into a crash out side eso but it has completed 50mins of furmark without issue. I also RE-installed and validated all files in eso.

TBH im running out of ideas lol
I hope this is enough info?
Thank you in advance.

Hi SgtWinnie and welcome to Sevenforums! :)

BCCode: 124 is a Hardware Failure though software such as BIOS, low level chipset drivers, drivers, and even security programs can cause it. Also all your BSODs pointed to hal.dll which means there is an hardware error.

And there was a BIOS release 5 days ago so I would recommend that you download and install it and report back if the issue persists!

The crashes are consistent internal timer errors on cache bank 4.

Please uninstall Daemon tools, it is known for causing bluescreens what could act as a hardware fault.

If updating the BIOS and removing Daemon tools doesn't help you might need to replace the CPU.

ok well it just happened again.

What i have done since my last post.

Ran Driver checker to see if any drivers where out of date including chipset etc.
Updated bios to version 2801 using the Asus ez flash.

Ever since then the system has been worse. Noticeable in game straight away.

Ive always used intel and it annoys the hell out of me to finally get a I7 and its stuffed? Is there anything else i can check or do before i start this process all over again?

axeo Thank you for your post as well. I have uninstalled daemon and will see if there is any difference.
Thank you both of you.

This is the latest dump file

I would highly suggest to not use driver update programs
   Warning
Programs that claim to update your drivers install either the wrong or corrupted drivers.
If you have installed any driver with Driver Updater, please remove them as it may cause trouble.

@Boris, hal.dll doesn't mean it is a hardware problem.
Hal.dll is the Hardware Abstraction Layer, the dll that simply gives the possibility to communicate with hardware.

@SgtWinnie, below CPU speed could look like your CPU is overclocked.
Please make sure nothing is overclocked.

Hello Axe,
Thank you for your reply. I was unaware about the driver check programs being fraudulent or incorrect?
AS it turns out no drivers were installed. I also verified driver versions where possible manually.
At the time of this crash the system was overclocked using the asus software. Its crash was no different to any other and was set back to default on reboot.
At no time since it was built has it been overclocked before tonight. I was hoping to push a bit harder to see what other info would show up. Clutching at straws.

Thank you for your continued advice.

In your latest upload I saw that you don't have the latest DirectX installed, currently you have 11 but 11.1 is the latest.

Installing it might help to resolve your problem!

No more BSOD at present but it may go for one to three days before another.
I will install and test some other games that require high load and see what comes of it.
Is there anything else i can do to test or monitor the cpu [not temperature] A program ?

I want to Thank you both for your time.

Hi you can download Prime95, it is a known program to stress test your CPU.

Oh and you are most welcome + I've got nowhere else to be.

I would like to add following to this suggestion.
Note that no program is 100%, even if both tests are indicating that the CPU is fine it does NOT mean the CPU is not faulty.

Diagnostic Test

 CPU TEST

Run Prime95 and IntelBurnTest to stress test your CPU. Prime95 - Stress Test Your CPU - Windows 7 Forums & http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/220743-cpu-stress-test-using-intelburntest.html

   Warning
Your CPU temperatures will rise quickly while under this stress test. Keep a keen eye on them and abort the test if overheating occurs.
