Revert to previous Thunderbird 44

[FONT=&quot]I've always allowed automatic thunderbird updates. I've updated to the newest version 45. It's horrible -- lost all profile, addons don't work, lost duckduckgo and got Bing (can change search engine). This has never happened when updating to new versions. I'd appreciate some help from the forum members as to how to junk this 45 and revert to 44. ellenc[/FONT]

AFAIK, the most current release build of Thunderbird (TB) is 38.5.1, available HERE.
TB 45 is still in beta.

And AFAIK the most current release build of Firefox (Fx) is 44.0.2, available HERE.
Firefox 45 is not due to ship until next month, as explained here.

Are you perhaps referring to a BETA build of Firefox or Thunderbird?

I apologize for not thanking you sooner for your reply and good help about Thunderbird. I'm having a family medical emergency and haven't had a chance to check out your info, hope to soon. Your help is much appreciated. ellenc
