Win 7 home premium 64 bit HP P6-2003a. It did it twice, crashed to a black screen and wouldn't start again the second time so I took the desktop apart and cleaned it including the motherboard which didn't have any leaky or bulging electrolytics,in fact it still looks like new.I checked the power supply voltages but not while it was under load and then DeOxited the memory sticks and sockets same for the graphics card. I think I can remember this happening before and it was the AMD catalyst driver that needed updating or something? Whats the common cause of this fault?
