BSOD while Win7 64-Bit is idle or various times (BCCode: 7a)

The SMART attributes is the health of a drive, the sectors is the content.
If either of them is showing problems, that doesn't have to mean the other has problems too.

Okay the reason I ask is because when I told him I thought I should look for another HDD he told me he didn't think it needed to be done. Just replace the motherboard.

His exact wording was this (he is frustrated with me at the moment I think):

4k in bad sectors on an old drive is not huge. 1000k makes a meg. 1000megs makes a gig. check the reallocated sectors in the smart data can be done under storage in everest. as long as your not getting exclamation marks in the smart data. the drive is probably still usable. but I told you you really shouldn't continue to use the tower till you get the replacement motherboard. or are you waiting till the bad motherboard kills something before you stop using it?

I have not gotten any more BSOD since that one time (was getting them a lot with the RAM I already returned) and am waiting for the replacement motherboard to get here. Should I not be using this computer in the meantime? He talks to me like I am a moron (I know what size 4 kb is..) but since I haven't had any more issues since taking that ram out (except for that one time with that BSOD) I didn't see any issue with using the computer (I wanted to see if it got any more BSOD).

I've had a better look at the pic you provided, the max of the reallocated sector is 200 and the current is 140 = not much to worry BUT keep an eye on it just to be sure, I always keep an eye on my hard drives to prevent problems with it
