When should I receive my copy of Windows 7?

I preordered mine off amazon during the $50 for home premium thing that happened over the summer. should it arrive any time soon or what? I haven't gotten a confirmation of shipping yet...

I would check amazon then...If you ordered with FREE SHIPPING sometimes they hold the item a little longer..

Check with them..they will have your ansewer...

i got mine this morning and it was dispatched 3 days ago,it was already in stock just not on the shelves,check with amazon if that where you got it but mines installed,took longer than vista to install but faster when its up and running

Check your account @ amazon.com. They charged my CC, today. Online it says shipping Monday.

Amazone is a little slow it seems. Got mine from Newegg and it will arrive tomorrow (10-23-09 friday).

Update...

After an hour on the phone I finally got to speak with someone. I was told my order was cleared on the 17th, processed and has actually shipped. He said I should get it in 24/48 hours (I'm in California)

I asked why I have not received an email and why it still showed as "Processing", he said his system was more up to date than the page they have on line.

There may be hope.

Hi there
Let's hope your product is not being sourced / shipped from the UK -- the next round of Postal Strikes have totally overloaded firms like Fedex, TNT and DHL to say nothing of the sheer volume of orders for W7 that Amazon has received.

With globalisation a seemingly localised problem like a Post strike in the UK can have consequences far beyond its national frontiers.

I'm sure both MS and Amazon didn't expect the colossal amount of orders they've been getting - esoecially in the current economic climate.

Just checked the Windows Store site and it now shows it shipped, UPS.
