Hello everyone, first post here. I just acquired a used computer as a backup and noticed a folder with the name 12b9ba746df etc and the following files inside:

All files are dated September of 2014. These appear to be Installation or Update files Does anyone know if it's ok to delete or move these files ? Thanks for any help ! :)

Thanks for the reply. Yesterday I moved the files to an external drive and all seems well. There is a Windows 7 Pro Authentication sticker with HP on it on the side although it might have originally come from HP with Vista installed. I bought it from a Travel Agency that had downsized.

Oh and I had already run the Diagnostic tool as instructed by support at the Microsoft forums. All seemed to be in order. I was having problems updating Windows 7 since the computer hadn't been connected since last year and I managed to find the solution in a thread here at the Sevens forum. That's how I found the place after a google search for a solution to the update issue. :)

Edit* nvm, just found out it actually ship within the official msu file

Sorry I no longer have those files. Long ago deleted. The computer now dual boots Win 10 Pro and Linux Mint 18.1 Cinnamon.
