My HP-2000 was built to run Windows 8. It runs Windows 7 just fine, but I can't get drivers working for the following objects:

WiFi
Ethernet
Display
Trackpad
Keyboard

Any help would be helpful, as I use this machine to watch videos, edit documents, and surf the web.

OK, first, posting a .doc file just to post a link to m e d i a f i r e was a convoluted approach, you could have zipped it and posted it here,

That being said, looking at your list in the first post,

Ethernet Realtek

Wifi https://www.atheros-drivers.com/download-driver-nr-306-for-atheros-AR9485-and-Windows7.html

Display I would just let windows update find a driver since this is a laptop.

Keyboard should get a working driver if you are connected to the internet during install, might even be one in the installer.

Touchpad should get one too but have you tried the synaptics drivers from HP?

Once you have internet I think you'll get most of your drivers, try using the Ethernet during install it will usually help you get drivers easier.

Sorry about the Mediafire URL. I can't zip my files because I am using a different mac than the Win7 one.
Also, the Synaptics driver does not work.

Not a big deal really.

OK, if that driver didn't work, let's see if this one does,

The difference I noticed is there is a W7 folder in this one,
