Computer seems to be slowing down on certain applications and start-up

My graphics card recently died, it was a Palit jetstream GeForce gtx 780 with no indication of it losing life, it was just sudden. After that i was able to play a few games on my integrated graphics on low settings, for example rocket league and csgo, I could even run gta (non steam version) at 30fps on minimum settings but now my computer seems to be dying.
Every 2 out of 5 times I startup my pc it will stay on the starting windows screen for about a minute ( bare in mind my pc usually would load and be ready to use in under 30 seconds, yes i timed it:o ) I have also been having a problem launching and navigating Steam as it just seems to stop responding after every click ( I have uninstalled and reinstalled fully) and i cannot run any of the games i was previously running on my integrated graphics anymore as they seem to running extremely slow and freeze every couple of seconds.
I dont believe anything has changed since i was able to run them so to me this seems extremely strange, my computer was perfectly capable of running them for a couple weeks then all of a sudden it started to flop. Applications such as Chrome and discord seem to be fine and i can watch YouTube videos with ease, there is no problem running these other programs and I even ran a CPU test and it is working perfectly never reaching above 30% usage lol.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, I believe you can see my system specs and I still have my gtx 780 plugged into the motherboard but its not detected.

I havent checked memtest yet and im about to remove the graphics card, the problem with me putting the card in a different slot is that it doesnt fit, its huge and my case is tiny lol

I cant really understand that post in its full text form, a screenshot would be better but if your drive showed as blue and not yellow or red then your drive is probably fine. You can see in my shot that Drive Y is going bad. Try the x4 slot then if your card will fit in it as it will work but just be slower.

I would backup your D: drive and replace it if you can, are the games that are freezing on that drive or the SSD? I would still check your ram to be on the safe side and run your computer without the 780 in it so it does not cause issues being in a slot.

yeah they are, i have moved cs go from it to my SSD and it runs fine. replace the HDD completely and yeah i have taken it out thanks. do you not know what the problem is with it ?

oh sorry. should i replace the HDD completely? I have already taken out the GPU. Do you know what the problem with the HDD is?

They just Die overtime as they have moving parts and a lifespan, so do SSD's as they have a set amount of read and writes. If you have a external HDD then I would image your D drive with Reflect (link in my Sig) and then restore it back to the new HDD so that it is the same.

EDIT: was CSGO one of the games that was freezing consistently on the HDD?

Then yeah I would say the HDD is going if it can be shown to be consistent and only while on the HDD vs SSD.
