group contacts (more than one in a group) from the original WLM 2012 (it does not happen in 2011) when you try to send out one group it come up with an error msg it cannot send it
This has been going on for over a year and I believe I put the link in here from wlm Microsoft group about it.
Their last update was suppose to fix it. It did not fix it
The only way to get the email to go is to log out of WLM, then sign back in, then the email goes.
I just installed the latest one and it is doing the exact same thing
this is the message you get everytime you try to send a group contact email
Microsoft knows about it but cannot figure out what is wrong, and hundreds have complained about the exact same thing happening to them.
For me it is real annoying.

Have they fixed the "uncontrollability" issues?

I have to run WLE in XP, because it doesn't have Libraries, so you can actually control what WLE tries to access (WLPG is the only feature I use).

I'm not sure this was updated after all it's not installing on windows 8.1 for some like myself but 7 is ok and has been withdrawn from vista so my guess is that this build is the same as what was released in April

Yep I just re-downloaded photo gallery and Movie maker a few days ago and show the same thing,
The incremental updates would be in the 3528.0331 part or as you show 3528.331 as far as I've ever noticed :/
But it's been a while since I've kept track or even used PG Movie maker I used once
Better photo editing programs out there

WLPG has a nice tagging function (it's the reason I still have XP installed).

I haven't seen any other image tagging tools that worked as conveniently.
I've got a folder with ~4500 images that need tagging (multiple tags).

For image manipulation I use GIMP, although I could also use Photoshop.

Same here...reloaded the wlsetup-web.exe ( File version 3528.331 but shows on mine, Product version 3528.0331), it tells me the programs i use are already installed...no change made, so!

Yep well you can add tags with windows explorer so you certainly don't need photo gallery for that easy task depending on which tags your referring to I've never gotten into people tags, Who's this ! shoot it
Photo gallery also has the worst thumbnail caches ever created
No "save as" it's just beyond weird thinking,
I'd rather use office picture manager to do easy quick editing/ crop/ resize....
Otherwise yea I personally use CorelPaint for more precise editing or gimp
So pg is really a waste of space when only mm is wanted :/

I only use it for tagging manga scans.
WLPG has a list of the tags you have used (or you can just add them to the list first).

I found it much easier to tag 100s of images at the same time using WLPG than Windows Explorer, because:

• I could scale the images to a large enough size to view who or what was in them
• Of the tag list

All I do is select a bunch of images and then just click on the tag(s) I want.
The images I'm tagging usually have multiple tags (>4).

Windows Explorer used to offer me tags based on what I started to type, but it stopped doing that 2 or 3 years ago.

So pg is really a waste of space when only mm is wanted :/

Yep depreciating programs
Most have started moving to thunderbird as an alternative most seem content with the switch

The problem is that will force to keep important mails out of the software...datas will have to stay on MS server.
