I just bought the geforce gtx 1080ti aorus extreme edition and didn't realize it required water cooling set up =( I've never done this before and need help on knowing which radiator/fan would be the best for it. Any thing is helpful =) it already comes with the waterblock installed but it doesn't have any tubes or a fan.

Well, I hope you found something in the meantime.

In all my searching through the retailer's and Gigabyte's websites, and the manual, I can find zero information on the water cooling system required other than the word "Waterforce." I don't know if that's a brand or a technology buzz word, but it seems to be a piss poor marketing scheme when you can't even be bothered to tell your customers what they require (or give specs) for the water cooler to work.

It's an impressive card, but if I couldn't find the basic info on the recommended water cooling system, I'd send it back.

Spend $850.00 on a video card and not know what is included and how it works??

Shame on you.

As far as I can tell their is no add on water block or radiator need to use this card.

Does the video card come with a manual?

A radiator and fan is the least of your worries, you would also have to get a pump, tubing, connectors. Water cooling is a science, right Jack :)

Their seem to be two options.

One that comes with a complete cooling system and one that that need a water cooling system built. If you did get this one.

You will need to make your own cooling system. (Radiator, fans, tubing, liquid)
If you are not comfortable making your own cooling system I would recommend the all in one unit.

Thanks for the replies everyone, I did end up returning it and getting the all in one version instead.

I messed up buying it I knew it was water cooled but I didn't know it was going to require me to buy the whole cooling system separately, I should of looked more into it. Although when I was trying to read up on it some more I still couldn't find anything that would of informed me that I was going to have to buy all this extra stuff (my bad I know).

It's an impressive card, but if I couldn't find the basic info on the recommended water cooling system, I'd send it back.

The only kind of manual it came with, if I would even call it that, was a single one-sided page with pictures of the graphics card on it already hooked up to tubing and a cooler. Not really much useful information or any kind of specs on it. It was more of just hyping up how good the card is.
