- Run DLL
There was aproblem starting C:\windows\system32\NVSPCAP64.DLL – The specified module couldnot be found.
-----------------------------------------
How do I resolve these problems - I'm at a lost at this time. Appreciate any assistance on this.
Thanks in advance.

1. NERO error. Reinstalling Nero should fix this. There are many sites that claim they can fix this or install the program but I advise against these as many want to sell you this and install malware/spyware with it.

2. The NVSPCAP64.DLL is an NVIDIA (video card) application.

Nero did not come with this PC from Dell so you must have installed it.

This could have come with an NVIDIA video and there is a Vista driver listed on the Dell downloads. The Vista driver will work on Win 7 but is old. If you can find a later driver on the NVIDIA site, download and use that. Otherwise you can download the old Vista driver.

Just what is NERO used for and is it necessary? I do not see it listed in Control Panel/Installed Programs List?

Thanks

Nero is used to burn files to CD. If you don't see it listed in the Installed Programs list, download the installer of Nero and try to install it, then see if it is listed in the Installed Programs.

One way could be to download Nero, install it then uninstall but be advised that Nero will leave hundreds orphan files in the system and key entries in the registry so you will need to use a program like CCleaner to do some cleaning.
Here you can download Nero all versions, they need a serial number so I'm not sure if the installer will let you install a trial version or you must have a key before you can install also be prepared to download +250MB of junk: http://www.nero.com/eng/downloads/previous-versions/nero-product-line-2017.php?vlang=us&country=au&currency=aud
But I would firstly install CCleaner and see if I can get rid of Nero's remaining traces.

Very happy with this buid.
I struggled a lot to find all compatible parts since I wanted an Intel 1151 based motherboard so to be able to install Windows 7.
I chose this case because it has amazing air flow, it's sturdy and looks good.
The case included 1x 200mm front and 1x 120mm back fans, I added 1x 200mm on the top and 1x120 bottom fans and modded the panels with black stockings for women s
Where can I locate a copy of NERO so I can download and install..?

Thanks
Charlie

I got the NERO issues resolved - thanks for the help. But, the second problem is with the NVIDIA problem. Where do I go to look for a solution for it.

Again, thanks for your assistance!

How did you fix it, it's useful for other people who could have the same problem.
the second problem is with the NVIDIA problem
The first thing you need to have ready when doing troubleshooting is your full computer specifications.
You might need to reinstall (or update) the graphic drivers and this is the quickest and hopefully effective option to try.
I checked the Dell web site but Windows 7 isn't listed so did you install Vista drivers? Did it come already installed? Refurbished laptop? Is this the right laptop? http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/product-support/product/inspiron-e1505/drivers

With the NERO problem - I got a copy of it on the web, installed it, then Uninstalled if completely and the problem is gone.

As to the NVIDIA problem - I just need to view a list of my system hardware, etc. so I can see the exact hardware, I have on my system, so I don't pick the wrong driver to install. Awhile ago in the pass, I was able to look at a list of all components I have on my system, but I can't remember how I retrieved the list. Can you help me with that?

Again, thanks for you assistance!

The laptop should have a sticker on the bottom which tells the exact model or if isn't there, remove the battery.
The Dell web site doesn't show the drivers for Windows 7 but Microsoft might have them so there is still hope.

It's not a Laptop, it's a Desktop Computer. So, where do I go to see them there?

Please double check your computer model, you say it's a Dell Inspiron E1505 but the internet search result only shows laptops.
However, you can check the information from Windows.
Type in the search field (in start menu') "System information" and it should tell the exact Dell model, then on the left pane expand "Components" and click on "Display", it should show the exact graphic chip model or take a screenshot so anyone could help.
You could install the free version of Speccy which will tell more information so as you understand we need to know the computer model and the graphic chip https://www.piriform.com/speccy

gumboman,

To correct Nvidia driver error,

  1. Click the Start Orb and type device manager.
  2. If device manager appears highlighted press enter, if not use up or down arrow keys to highlight it and press enter.
  3. Search for Nvidia display adapter, right-click on it and select Update Driver Software.
  4. Windows will search for and update with correct Nvidia driver!
