Solved Can't download or find Internet explorer 9 x64

Hello

I wonder if any of you know how I can download the Swedish version of Internet Explorer 9 x64?
I've hidden IE11 and IE10 in windows update. But I'm not being offered IE9.
All other updates are installed (which I want installed) so when I search for new updates, I get a green symbol that no updates are available.
Now I have IE8 and microsofts website does not work with IE8. Nothing happens when I click "Next" down the right corner to proceed with the download. and with my Linux computer I can't access anything. I only get a message: "Internet Explorer 9 is not compatible with your system."

I'm not sure about the swedish version but you can download older versions of IE on old version. Download Old Versions of Internet Explorer for Windows - OldVersion.com

If Microsoft isn't letting you download from it's website since 8 is too old you can try another browser like firefox or chrome.

well, I had meant to install media computer before the other, but maybe I'll have to change the strategy to access the IE9 from Microsoft otherwise. It's almost a joke .. you must have IE 10/11 to be able to download IE9.*hahaha*

On one of the computers I will have IE11 and Firefox. But on my other one (TV/multimedia computer), I'm only going to have microsoft programs to make it as "optimized" as possible. I have noticed over the years that MS OS runs best/smoothest/harmonize best with only MS software. If it really is so, or if it has just happened to be so in my case, it's probably a debate in itself. *hahaha*
I will only use IE9 to view the local radio-TV guide and local news, so no extra security is really needed. I will have MS own "antivirus software" in that computer.

Yes a know.. As a replied to townsbg above, It's only my multimedia computer I'm going to use IE9 on.

If i was you

download IE11, then your linux distro will work, suspect its due to SMB1 certificate block, used by IE8/9/10 as standard, there were updates for IE11 to use SMB2.

Once installed go to Programs and features then Turn features on/off (top left) and UNCHECK IE11,
use your other browser for surfing

Your then Securely upto date, just like me
(IE9 is no longer offered by MS as its out of life)

If your only going to use MSE run malwarebytes free once a week

I solved the problem by installing IE11 on my other PC .. so then I could download IE9 from Microsoft.

Yes I know.. But as I said in post four, I'll only going to use IE9 to view the local radio-TV guide and local news.. It is only an TV/multimedia computer. I'm not going to used this one for reading emails or hang out on forums or surf the web with. I only going to watching movies TV series and listen to music with it.. and IE9 to check whats on TV tonight and local news
So there is 0.001% chance of getting viruses or malwere on that computer. I'm not even going to patch it for spectre and meltdown. So to use IE9 is no risk as long as there isn't any flash, java and so on installed, and if only secure websites is being visited.

All my MP3 files and video files are copied into that computer through my other computer. My other computer will have Norton Internet Security IE11 and Firefox, so that one will be used for everyday use as email, hanging on forums, browsing the web and so on.

For non-secure or very risky websites, I use Linux with Firefox and uBlock as well as tightened browser settings. This on a computer that has no personal data on the hard drive. I call it my lab-computer. Its also dual boot with a minimal installation of win7 pro x64 SP1 and only Firefox. No personal data on this one either. so if it gets infected, I will do a disk recovery in about 15minutes
