8.5 years for me, but I have not been very active on here for a lot of months now.

I have become some what of a Hermit in my Fortress of Solitude Science Lab.

I have had to replace a lot of computer PSU's lately. They just die from 24/7 power ON.

Mostly been a lurker and using the tuts. I am a member of many other computer forums with different usernames and I can honestly say a lot of them are dying. I think it's due in large part to social networking like Reddit, Facebook, etc. Pretty pathetic. I don't care for those platforms.

Question: Had Dude111 ever been here? LMAO! I see him EVERYWHERE He's even got his own Wiki entry. Dude111 - DSLRPedia

Seen as how this website uses vbulletin, I know it would appeal to him. Come to think of it. I think he acctuly runs Win 98se. I can't see hime using that much longer with everything going TLS.

Congratulations and Thank you Bill and Thank you to all the nice people being here for visitors like myself.

I don't and can't contribute help to others, but I really appreciate you all being here and having my back when things go wrong.

I'm sorry to read that the new social media apps devices, etc as mentioned by F22 Simpilot's Seven Forums Profile are rendering sites like this one less useful. Wish it wasn't true as people need to support such places else there is no other trusted place to go to ask the questions that using a computer raises.

Guess its all a plan by the Computer software and hardware people to make us pay their yearly charges for "service", which is really not knowledgeable service, but some guy reading a manual or knowledge base on the other end of a chat or email exchange.

MUCH MUCH better here when the actual computer users are helping us computer dunsels to continue actually doing the work that is needed by others in a computer dominated work world!

I joined just 2 years ago, when I got my first Win7 puter (I wait till OS's get broken in, like wild horses. Then I keep them a long time.) I've been at Mozillazine 20 years and Virtualdr 19 years. Do those count? On the sites that I use the most, I also try to give back to other users.
