Windows cannot discover any computer or device - how to fix?

When I click on "See full map" in Network and Sharing Center, I just get the "Windows cannot discover any computer or device" message. How can I fix this? I can't remember, but this may have possibly happened when I switched broadband providers and got a new router.


Note that the Network folder in Windows Explorer works - so there isn't anything wrong with device discovery.


EDIT: My router is a Virgin Media Hub 3.

There is a known problem with one of the latest updates causing a similar issue. Downloading KB4487345 has worked for a few people! Download and run KB4487345 from here => MS Update Catalog KB4487345.

if your Network is set to Public then you wont see it.

Got the same router.
