Limiting Results to Folder Names Containing Numbers in Square Brackets

Good morning,

I'm trying to figure out how to obtain search results (in Windows 7) that only include sub-folders containing a number in their folder names. Only numbers in square brackets should be included in the results. Square brackets like these: []. That is because numerous folders, that I wish to avoid, also contain numbers in their folder names, but those numbers appear either loosely or in rounded brackets.

another vote for Everything

The following Everything search will find all folders that have at least one number AND also one of the two characters X or Z

folder:<1|2|3|4|5|6|7|8|9|0> <X|Z>

so presumably you could just search on

folder:<1|2|3|4|5|6|7|8|9|0> <[|]>

The | character means OR

I had to fix a typo in my earlier post. Just do this..

1) download Everything, then start it
Downloads - voidtools

2) then put this in its main search field
folder:<1|2|3|4|5|6|7|8|9|0> <[|]>

that's it

I just did it on my system and will attach a pic of the results. I have one folder that matches the criteria.

All that came up were all my movie collection. The dates and movie quality were highlighted. Like 2018 and 1080P. Not the "P" mind you.
