My Sims 2 PC Download discs aren't working. Please Help!

I recently bought "The Sims 2 PCCD", but when I insert disc one, it makes a loud whirring noise, asks if I want to download (as administrator). Then, it'll go blank for a second, and tell me to insert disc one. I'll hit okay,but it just pops back up again. When I hit cancel, it asks if I wants to end everything. I've cleaned off the discs, and tried all the discs, but nothing works. I have disk one/two/three/four, and the instruction booklet. I'm not too computer savvy.
Please help me!

Do other disks [NON game disks] work OK?

Yes. I just tried a disc, and it worked perfectly. I honestly don't know what's happening! I can't get onto EA's help site. My family has three computers. My dad's, the one connected to a TV, and mine. I might just use the one on the TV.
