I just saw that there are updates avail

I just saw that there are updates avail - but why? I updated the end of Jan, and I thought there were going to be no more updates?


Now, I have purchased Extended Security Updates, but I have not installed that yet.


I am not complaining here, but does anyone know what is going on?

Are they actually windows system updates or other software such as office, MSE, .net, or Windows malicious spyware removal tool? .net and Windows malicious spyware are still getting updates on mine. Also have you checked the date on them? Maybe they are older.

Apparently Microsoft security Essentials will keep getting definitions till 2023.

I have the 1/4/2020 definition update on my Vista x64

That isn't actually a Windows system update any more than office or MSE. Apparently It's still supported on 7.
