I tried maybe 5-7 browsers, all of them except Chrome can't play youtube live streams, yahoo tv, dailymotion and most other videos. Chrome is working good. for most browsers, youtube videos ok except the live streams. for Firefox, I have tried maybe 5 versions from 56 to 75 ( currently using ), clean up several times, delete old profiles, new profiles but to no avail. I have tried the common solutions regarding Firefox video problems from the internet but to no avail. I just want to get Firefox videos especially youtube and yahoo tv working again. videos are playing good on the media players. any advice ? thanks.

How did you delete the profile? I want to make sure it was indeed wiped.

For testing and to see if it isn't related to your install, try portable Firefox. Mozilla Firefox, Portable (browser) | PortableApps.com

Try turning off or on hardware acceleration in the browser settings.

Video should be rendered in HTML5 which works without a flash or other plugin.

for the profiles. Firefox versions before 67, I used refresh option. current using Firefox 75, I deleted the old profile and create new one. there is nothing there - no history, bookmarks, passwords and extensions. the new profile should be clean, all things wiped.

just tried the portable Firefox 75, same videos issues like the other browsers except Chrome. hardware acceleration are turned off, on/off same. should be Firefox and other browsers problems because Chrome videos are ok ?

Try safe mode once in Firefox. To do this press and hold the shift key then double click on the Firefox icon. Do streams work in safe mode?

In normal Firefox without safe mode go here and tell me if you're good to go or not. YouTube

Download and install Everything.exe. Now in Everything look for FFmpeg. Do you see it listed in C:\Users"USER_NAME"\AppData\Local\Adapter\ffmpeg

If you have a dedicated video card, go into your BIOS are try disabling IGPU (Integrated graphics).

Downloads - voidtools

streams don't work in Firefox safe mode. IGPU disabled. the Youtube link indicated all ok. I don't have the FFmeg, no Adapter\ffmpeg. have only the Shark007 codecs pack in windows 7, it provides the ffmpeg ?

It may in fact be the lack of the FFmpeg codec. Though, it does say what you're using now uses some of the FFmpeg codec. So I'd try to install the FFmpeg codec following these instructions. I've never done this before so YMMV.
