I have a strange problem. Since i added a new USB3.0-Hub, Windows makes the usual Sounds for plugging in a new Device and for removing it.
On the device manager, leaving the Drives branch ope, the list refreshes, but there is no new device
visible. On Computer management/Disk management happens nothing.
Any Idea?

Hello,

Have you plugged any device into the expansion Hub and checked ? A hub wont usually show up in Disk Management until a storage device has been plugged in.

Plug the drive or stick directly into the port, without the expansion hub connected. If that is a success, then maybe there is something incompatible with the expansion hub?

Agree with iko22

New out of the box items & devices can be defective.
Have you tried your hub on another computer?

and the silly questions,
are USB3 drivers installed

other thought is F-Secure blocking it
