Opera Download extention for Youtube Videos

Hi,

I always download Youtube videos with my browser; Opera an the extension: Easy Youtube Video Dowloader Express.

That always worked fine, i select a video an i got a download-button in opera to download the video

The last days, when i select a video, the download-button is missing, so i cannot download the video
I see that appears with all the video's i select

Has anybody a suggestion, how to solve this problem?

Google's Youtube has been known to make unannounced changes somewhere within their websites, disabling various youtube downloaders. Sometimes, all that is needed is a good Restart and reEntry into youtube makes downloading possible, sometimes not.

There is also a chance that Opera got updated and the update broke the extension.
Try updating the plugin, or revert to the older browser version if you can.

Good call! I did not even think about that being the cause Hope OP can recover their downloading ability.

usually Opera browsers automatically update their addons/extensions without any user intervention if there's an open internet connection

Good call! I did not even think about that being the cause Hope OP can recover their downloading ability.

OP may need to disable Opera browser auto updates if newer Opera versions break the addon

VLC is all you need, that and their latest youtube.lua to cope with those 'unannounced changes'...
