(direct line is that AD company)
Posted this to Reddit but got no response and the guy on the phone said it was alright to remove the hard drive which I did and it still works, they said if they can't fix it and send it bac they will scrap the laptop and send me a new one, either exact same model with ram or better. I also added 4gb of ram to I but idk if that will be replaced so should I remove that as well.
Been up the wall the past two days since spilling cold coffee on my Lenovo ideapad which knacked the keyboard so it's quite glitchy (pressing buttons activates another or doesn't activate etc.) It also didn't turn in yesterday but did today after a bit of fiddling. The accidental damage guy is coming on Tuesday. Am I in the right to keep the personal hard drive out wit a note of the doesn't of the laptop informing them on that? I mea it obby won't boot the (nonexistent) OS doing it that way but I donthave to lost the drive not sure about RAM you know insurance companies. Thoughts.
I am asking an insurance related question s for UK folks what's the experience? Or just in general if you have any insight before I meet him or her at the door... Not the warranty for Lenovo but the ad company. Thx. I need advice.
I could maybe clone my current drive using macrium before the arrive with another pc but there is only one other and it ain't mine. They legit said they would wipe the hard drives data.
