Solved Renewed pc with Win 10, Can I add Win 7?

Win 7 has continued to work flawlessly, however my pc due to old hardware, has crashed a few times, so, I purchased a renewed Lenovo ThinkCentre M73 Tiny Form Factor. Unfortunately, due to an incorrect description, it's actually a Win 10 instead of Win 7 as indicated in the description. The seller has agreed to a return and refund, however, because the new-to-me Lenovo formerly had Win 7 (now Win 10), is it possible to use the Win 7 key from my old pc to add Win 7 to the new pc? Of course, any changes I make to the new pc will void any warranty, so I'm asking first.

If the Lenovo ThinkCentre M73 came with win7 it would have a slic table, you could use the lenovo slp activation.

Why buy such an old machine? If you get a second hand intel 8th gen or newer it also supports win11.

If you want to run win7 on an oem machine you would need to select carefully, something like an HP 800/600 G4/G5 should be ok for win7 and win11. siliconbeaver has win7 running on those, no problem

g4/g5 have single 8th or 9th gen cpu. siliconbeaver seems to find them at good prices.

If you are replacing your computer, and would like stay with Windows 7.

a common choice is to select HP G4/G5 computer (any form, DM SFF TWR laptop , , , first released in 2019. NOT very old). the used ones were inexpensive.

look around your local market, during layoff people, office equipment flushing into local market, my local market, Kaby Lake was $0.99 - $10.

how to install Windows 7 on them. I usually picked up those with RAM 8GB, SSD 256GB or higher. no need to hardware upgrade after buying.

Thank you! I would like to replace both of my PCs with newer Win 7 PCs.

Unfortunately, my experience with ebay hasn't been good. Purchased a PC years ago from one seller and a tablet from another seller. Both were defective. The PC started smoking and smelled like burning rubber.

Would you happen to know how of a reputable seller?

any ID with 99% will be ok. 95% or lower would be risky.
local market, though NOT often, would be more buyer-friendly.
