Windows 7 RC1 release date is planned for April as Microsoft is launching several new updates scheduled for February 24. MVPs (Most Valuable Professionals) will obtain five updates for build 7000.

Where is the source providing the release info proof, Anyone can say "Windows 7 Release Date Scheduled For April".
That article sucked and was made for hits........ did I miss something in the article leading to the release facts??? I know "test update for build 7000" was not the proof.

If you read the news it tell's you it's the RC release!

The article should of said in it's title, Windows 7 RC1 Rumored to be released in April. Or something along that line. It just says Windows 7 Release Date Scheduled For April which is kind of weird. I don't think it's an actual known fact yet that it will be released in April, although it's believed so and it would be the Release Candidate, not just 'Windows 7".

I am suprised no one has told you to not believe everything you read on the internet, even if it is NEWS.

I heard the rumurs, and dont doubt an RC sometime soon in the future, I just thought that articles title was poor considering it had no proof or facts leading to info on the RC release.

I am not trying to debate or argue with you so dont take it wrong but
I am not seeing the info from microsoft about RC or where it said they spoke to MS first.
