Hello all!

From some time, every build/version (both stable and dev, even older like v1,2) of Google Chrome is, well I dont know how to explain it, it looks like Chrome freezes, for example 3 seconds, and this is everytime a open new tab, or loading new website, etc. Its very annoying and because of this I cant use it. Ive used Chrome from first dev builds of v4, and I didnt had this problem.
I thought KIS is doing something, first I disabled KIS, no change, I also unninstalled KIS, same.
I dont want to reinstall whole system again.
Oh and sites are loading maybe 3-times longer then usually, I have 11/1 Mbit connection, so for exaple, before this problems, Google page loaded in less than 1 second. Now? 5 seconds! I really dont know why. I dont use proxy.
I already wrote to Google Dev Channel blog, no responce.

Please help.

Thanks in advance.

I've been using Chrome since it was launched and think it's great but from time to time I get the same problem with it freezing or taking ages to load a simple page. I think it's down to DNS lookups. I've just upgraded to 4.0.223.16 and so far it's been OK!

Im using latest dev build, and yes I think too that problems are in DNS, but maybe in java and flash too.

I've had this problem too.. After trying everything.. even disabling Tablet Input Device.. it still occurs especially if there is a flash object or video streaming currently loading.. after trying every info i found on the net, i came up with my own solution..

download shockwave player plugin from adobe.. i am still trying and so far so good.. lagging issues on video loading and flash objects are now gone.. but I'm still observing.. i also have 10 google extensions installed.. so far it's been good ever since i installed shockwave..

Solution to for Google Chrome Freezing Desktop

-Chrome Freezing Windows 7 x64bit Ultimate* on Launch

I was launching chrome on everything else was frozen, The fix for this problem is the active content controller from Internet Explorer 9 (Beta version).

Open IE, and go to internet option.
On the advanced tab and scroll down to the security checkbox list.
Check the first two boxes under the security tab, they begin with Allow Active Content.

Fire up Chrome.
