775 ddr2 motherboard with 3 pci-e 16 lanes?

Hi I wanted to know if there was a 775 ddr2 motherboard with 3 pci-e 16 lanes, as I was thinking of using 2 lanes(2@x16) for my 5870's in crossfire and the 3rd lane(1@x8) for my old spare nvidia gtx 280 for purely physx work, I would like to know if this kind of board exists and if it does, would this even work well or not at all, or if there's no point me even trying to attempt it due to pci-e bus limitations or ati/nvidia software driver incompatibilities.

I want a 775 because i want to use my existing e8400 chip and 4gb of ddr2 ram, all help will be appreciated.

There are a few choices for ddr3 ram or nvidia (no cf tho) but for intel/ddr2 is this is all i can find.

Just not that there is no way all those slots run at 16x. Probably an 8+8+4 config at most if all are in use. Wont make much difference in gaming though..

Edit- Also don't forget that you're going to have to hack the drivers to get physx to work with ati

At www.newegg.com, there's one:

Foxconn ELA.

It uses an Intel P45 chipset, and there's no mention of an auxiliary PCI controller, so I believe that you don't get X16 on two slots.

I belive that Foxconn is some sort of alternate brand of Asus.

yes does seem like overkill but its a spare card i have that's doing nothing anyway

Thanks guys for helping but I think I may have to go down the i7/i5 and x58 mb option to get this setup working and that may take some time yet

That sounds like a plan.

A pair of 5870s in crossfire might run OK off of a dual core 8400, but somehow it just seems wrong.

My I7 920 isn't reliable above 3.8 GHz.
