Nvidia Equivalent to ATI Radeon 4200 HD?

Im wandering what the Nvidia equivalent is to the integrated GPU on my new motherboard coming in the mail. Im a bit knowledgeable on the Nvidia cards but not on the Radeon. And i can run the 4200 HD with a 4670 HD with a XFire Hybrid config. How much would that do Graphics wise? Would i even see much of a change?

You can't run an integrated card with an add on card in Xfire first off. Secondly to run Xfrie you would need 2 of the same cards GPU wise, They can be different manufacturers and even clocked different. Your system would just run at the lowest cards memory clock speed. As to the equivalent nvida card to your integrated card i would think a 9300 series Nvida card( information came form opinon on tomshardware) would be about the same. OK you learn something new everyday. Here is another excerpt form the article which doesn't mention a 4XXX series card. So my next question would be what motherboard and chipset is the OP buying? Since it would only be supported with the AMD 780 chipset to run in Hybrid xfire? Thanks Fabe.

Can't find any updated info regarding Hybrid Crossfirex and the new 785G chipset, which is the one that comes with the HD4200, but if it is the same as for the HD3200 which it replaced, then it won't work with the 4670 (that and the 4670 is much faster than the HD4200).

One thing it will allow you to do seeing as the card is from ATI, is if you want to run up to 4 monitors you can enable the HD4200 and enable the "SurroundView" option in the bios, and run with 2 monitors connected to both the onboard (any combination of two of DVI/VGA/HDMI) and video card.

So after 5 min in Wikipedia & ASUS.com:

* The 785G chipset does indeed support Hybrid CrossfireX (ASUS.com):

* The only cards that support this technology are the HD 2400 & 3400 series (Wikipedia):

Hybrid Graphics are only available with 24xx 34xx model ATI graphics cards.

And not worth the effort of running, especially in your case as the 4670 you mentioned will be faster than any combo with the HD4200.

Mobo says it supports hybrid config.

But if its not worth linking them i dont mind, If the actual Equiv to my ATI Radeon 4670 for Nvidia is the 9300 like stated above. Unless he was talking about my onboard, Which is good i guess? If the 4200 is 9300 Equiv, What is 4670 Equiv to Nvidia wise?

I would think just run the 4670, you can always try the xfire since it says it is supported and run benchmarks to decide. ATI Radeon HD 4670 review In this test the 4670 out preformed the 9500gt in almost every benchmark test.
