Hello everyone

I am currently using dual booting Win XP SP 3 and Windows 7 Ultimate x86
Recently been playing Dragon Age Origins where the configuration can detect your system specs.

My GPU is 9500GT 512 M

In XP the game and the system detects that my GPU ram is 512 M
But in Windows 7 both only detects that my GPU ram is 256 M
I've downloaded the latest Nvidia driver for Win 7 from Nvidia website (the one that is recommended by the website)

So, any ideas?
Thanks
Sten

I don't think it matters what it displays. you know you have a 512 MB GPU card.

I think and my friend who's an quite an expert in computer fields also thinks that it does matter, especially if Windows 7 System Information feature only detects 256Mb VRAM not the game only. Unfortunately Windows 7 is relatively new, and he stops using windows since XP, he prefers Ubuntu now so he can't help much. But maybe there'll be a driver or a fix soon. Hopefully
