Well today I took 2 of my cross-stitch pictures to the framers, think I'll do just a few small ones for the time being I can frame them myself so it doesn't cost so much

I did my first (and probably last) bit of xmas shopping.

I had a vague idea of what I was aiming for, but when I couldn't find what I was chasing - I was stumped. I didn't have any 'back up ideas'

I continued to 'man shop' (charging around the shops at 100mph), but without any clear mission, I was 'man shopping' with a perpetual WTF am I looking for expression.

Needless to say, my presents suck. At least I found a parking space easily

I get my uni results tomorrow, hoping for a pair of distinctions but will probably get a credit for my stats assignment because I got married mid semester and all study consequently went out the window

And i was looking for an IT job, but sine there wasn't any locally i was in a bit of a situation, so doing Cert3 in I.T (Applications)

I passed most of the modules already in the course i finished this year.

At least you didn't buy yourself a fishing rod / shotgun / set of golf clubs in desperation.
It sounds like your presents will be a big hit - all day suckers are cool!
Men are best "taken" shopping on a tight leash - so they don't go missing at the check out.................

Haha, i went shopping by my 18 year old self last week, with my last 3 weeks pay, bought my mum a nice glass dove, and dad a power drill, how ironic

Ironically, that would have made a good gag present. (no pun intended) The resulting peace and quiet would have just been a bonus

Never mind the check out. It's usually a mandatory piece of equipment to get us there in the first place.

If actually coerced into going to the shops without a leash, I find that being 'entrusted' with holding the purse/handbag works as equally well. The resulting sheepish behavior of the aforementioned 'entrusting' does have a similar effect to holding an anchor.

One of them is showing in my web site I just cellotaped it to the wall to photograph it's the one on black background with an owl flying over, I'll put a new photo in there when it's framed as well as the other one that's gone to the framers.

Woke up to the sound of our adopted baby figbird squawking at me for breakfast (mashed banana/rockmelon/apple). Finally finished the xmas shopping! I can definitely relate to the "man shopping"... I'm seriously considering keeping the Grill Daddy I got for the father-in law

I know how it feels... up until just last week, we were on Tel$tra's 12Gb Velocity plan (uploads included) @ AUD$99/month + $25 for line rental. We'd usually get capped at the start of week 3...
