Ati HD 5750 1GB but which one?

I am about to buy a HD 5750 1GB graphics card for my new pc (which will be with me tomorrow, hopefully) this card is one that’s been recommended to me on here but looking around there seems to be many different makes i.e. Sapphire, XFX, Asus etc, etc are they all the same or is one better than the others?

you sure 5750?
5770 would be better only about £20 more expensive.
for either 5750 or 5770 i would go Sapphire Vapor-X which is an overclocked edition.

Yeh £20 is neith here nor there if the HD 5770 is much better than I would go for that, thanks.

As a HD 5750 owner (got mine as a gift, wasn't even thinking of buying one), I can tell you that you can do much better for the money (~$140).

Maybe go for an older, yet much more powerful HD 4870.

thing is about the 4000 series ati cards is that they will be out of date sooner than 5000 series cards, because of the DirectX 11 support. and also better just because it is the later version of ati premium graphics. from benchmarks i have seen that in newer games the 5770 will outperform the 4870, and if it doesn't beat the 4870, you still have devastating detail with hardware tessellation for no expense to the performance.

For the HD 5770 to stay competitive, it needs to fit in somewhere between the current 4870 and 4850 pricing.

Just put a 5770 in my system, very good performance. Low heat and noise.
