Trying to set up Bluetooth file transfer with my mobile. I can send files to my phone successfully, but can't send from phone->PC. I get a "Storage Issue" error on my PC, even though it will say successful transfer on my phone.

While trying to pinpoint this problem, I noticed this:

How am I supposed to check something if the service list is empty? :what:Not sure if this is related to my issues, but its the only lead I can find.

Go to the search by start menu

"Bluetooth Support Service" was started on Manual. Changed to Automatic and rebooted, no change and the list is still blank.

I'm still not entirely convinced this is my issue because I can send files on the PC just fine.. just can't receive.

SOLVED! Solution for the Google Database:

Alright, so I have this dongle:

IOGEAR - GBU421 - Bluetooth 2.1 USB Micro Adapter

It comes with a disk to install the driver. Originally, I took the driver off the disk. I quickly realized that it sucks, and wasnt made for windows 7. From there, I went here to update:

Broadcom.com - Bluetooth Software Download

Downloaded and installed that, which lead me to the current above problem of being able to receive, but not send from Droid.

What I did was so simple Im ashamed I didnt try it earlier. I uninstalled everything under "Bluetooth Radios" in device manager and removed the drivers. I then reattached my dongle. The default windows "Found new hardware" driver caused the same problem as I stated in the OP. However, this time, I didn't bother with the disk and went straight to the update site above.

When it finished installing, I was left with all these new options that I didnt originally have. I can now toggle the dongle on/off without removing it, and have several additional tabs.. including sharing. And under my Droid device in Devices&printershttp://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?p=13374927#, there are actually services listed now. Sending and receiving both working flawlessly.

Hope this solution post helps someone else who may come across it in search!
