Doesn't prompt to delete partitions, do fresh install

I'm trying to install Win7 x64 on a machine that currently has the Win7 RC on it. When I boot from the DVD, it immediately goes into "Windows is loading files...", which it does for 30 minutes or so and then reboots, at which point I get a message that says that Windows cannot start because files have changed.

Normally when I boot from the DVD, the first thing it asks me is whether I want to create/delete partitions, do a fresh install or an upgrade, etc. I'm not getting any of that. Anyone know what's wrong?

First thing you do is go into BIOS, probably repeatedly tapping either the f2 or f12 key during boot. Then adjust bios to reflect boot from DVD, not the hard drive. Then you boot up, with the DVD in the drive. This will bring you to the screen that asks, custom, upgrade or advanced, you will select advanced, since this will give you the option to format partition etc. You, also, want to format to have the best install. Hope this helps.

I am booting from the DVD (I didn't go into the BIOS setup, I just hit a key when it prompted me to press a key to boot from the DVD).
