If you haven't figured it out yet, mechanical hard drives are capped at 5.9. Even a 10,000 RPM VelociRaptor only scores a 5.9. To get anything higher, you need an SSD. Some people have gotten higher with a regular hard drive, but usually only to 6 or 6.1
This may be the new thing for psychiatrists to diagnose...."WEI envy" ;)
:lol: So true I wish I had a ssd to get my wei score up a bit...that and I just want a faster HDD

I have no idea myself, but if you want a better score for HDD I believe you would need a ssd

Not sure how WEI calculates it but you won't see it going over 5.9 very often without an SSD, I have noticed that.
