interesting, pparks1, thanks. Read a few stories about this elsewhere and none mentioned installation limits. So this card replaces the MLK for 2007. But with 2007 you had 3 licenses, wasn't it? Not a fan of the one-off thing.

I'll be able to download Office 2010 through my employer when it's released for only $9.95 USD. In fact, I purchased Office 2007 through them for $9.95 USD last week, and surprisingly, it's the Enterprise Edition.

microsoft should be coming out with 2010 upgrade pricing soon. i am running the latest beta and when i installed it i was given the choice of uninstalling the old apps or keeping the old apps, with the exception of outlook. for some reason you cannot run two versions of outlook on the same system.

EDIT:

i just did a quick search and found the following. i guess i will be going to open office. i will not pay full retail. this will cost them a lot of customers.

Office Home & Student Boxed comes with three licences, other versions with two.

What have I cried about? I stated why I couldn't use Open Office, and it's a pretty legitimate reason for a college student.
