Youtube using Silverlight!

Yep, you heard it, parts of youtube are using silverlight instead of flash. This unfortunately is limited to CBSs channel.

You can view their silverlight videos at YouTube - CBSNCAATourney's Channel.

I personally would be ok with youtube switching to silverlight, there could be more chance of a 64-bit silverlight than 64-bit flash.

Well, I think from what I can tell, they are only using it for the NCAA March Madness Live feed/popular clips and that's it.

Im thinking they used it for some reason Silverlight works better for the Live feed and the full game videos, not sure though.

I dont like silverlight. Silverlight is microsoft sh*t! Flash is beter! :D

Unfortunately? LOL? Silverlight is a pain. Flash used to be good, they've got it to rot a bit, but its still better than silverlight.
