At random moments I'll freeze for a couple seconds and the go again. This only happens only, not single player. And other games are fine online, any ideas? Also nothing else is using bandwidth.

Didn't even try that, as for one I said single player plays fine. Besides it was pb.

well

well in multiplayer mode it lags more becauser of the texture quality
soo just lower it down in multiuplayer mode and it should run smooth :)

... Also nothing else is using bandwidth.
That's not entirely accurate. Windows 7 has a service called the multi-media class scheduler; it reserves bandwidth. Many guys have noticed big ping spikes because of this service. The way around is not to disable the service; but rather, to limit the amount of bandwidth 7 reserves:

Leave the multimedia class scheduler service running, but disable its network throttling "feature":

  • Open regedit
  • Go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Multimedia\SystemProfile
  • There will be an entry for network performance throttling, default value is 10; set it to FFFFFFFF hex (willl look like 0xFFFFFFFF to the right of the entry)
  • Reboot
