I have a generic computer with 2.2 Intel C2D, 1 GB RAM, which runs W7 x32.

I have installed both printers I use, a Canon i1310 and a Canon MX700.

When I want to print, I get this message:

Before running any task related to printing, such as configuring page size and printing a document, you must install a printer.

I have already installed them with their respective drivers and software to no effect.

One thing I'm curious about is that when I enter Services, Print Spooler, General, it appears that the service is stopped. I restart it (it's already set to automatic, with, in case of failures, consecutive restarts configured). The i1310 seems to awaken (it makes noise).

So I go to my document, I try to print, the print scren appears, I set the settings, I click print. But:

The document could not be printed... there where not any pages selected

So you see, I will appreciate very much any help with this issue. Ah, also, no printer appears in the devices and Printers window. Thanks very much.

Mmm...

Well, they don't appear in the device manager... What does that mean? And I haven't tried installing them in comp mode. How do I do that? Thank you very much for your help.
