What Has Windows 7 Done For You?

Well, at my first try of the RC1 (x86), i thought about another Vista kind of OS and just switched back to XP...
Then i gave it another try (weeks later...) and, with a closer view, i discovered a finally very interesting system; i like the fact that gadgets are totally independant, the native iso burner (ok, i still use Nero, we don't redo ourselves, but for those who don't have it...), the new task bar and its possibilities (even if i don't really use all of them), and, of course, the velocity in general.
Now i run the x64 and effectively, i regret that the most of the apps are still in x86...
Paris was not done in one day, was it...?

Totally agree. It got to the point where Windows XP felt more like Windows eXPired.

I hate the smell of friggin corn chip butt breath snacks.
Have used the custom install upgrade from Vista Home Premium to Win 7 Pro and is the best thing that I have ever done, I have some of my older apps running which I would not have daredto load on Vista. Just wish I had the guts to load my Nero 6, with compatibility mode!!!!

What hasn't it done? I mean... seriously... it's the Stability of Windows XP, with the beauty of Windows Vista, plus A LOT MORE!

The only thing that comes to mind for "What Windows 7 has done for me" is What HASN'T Windows 7 done for me. :)

after a year of suffering with Vista..
7 has resolved many problems.. the system now is faster and looks nice.
