Blogging is slowly becoming the domain of adults, as a recent Pew study shows more teens abandoning the medium for social networks.

The study, conducted by the Pew Research Center's Internet & American Life Project, showed a decline in the number of teens who say they blog, from 28 percent in 2006 to 18 percent in 2009, when the study was conducted. Just 52 percent comment on their friends' blogs, versus 76 percent three years ago.

I'm not trying to offend anyone that does blog, twitter, or partake in social networking sites. I think what it really comes down to is NOBODY ACTUALLY CARES!!

When people start paying attention to their own issues (believe me, We all have them)the world will be a better place.

I tried blogging, I liked it. It's just this eternal problem with time. I just checked, my blog's (A Finn in Germany) last update is from June 2008!

After reading this thread, I decided to continue it. At least yearly update...

Not only don't I have a blog, I am not 100% sure what one is. == Is it a page where you put stuff like "It is 1:23 PM. Just washed the dishes from lunch. I am thinking about taking a nap, but I will probably run down to the store first and get some ice cream." == Is it just a bunch of stuff that only close friends might care about even though any one in the world can read it????

Why I said I liked blogging is that for me it was kind of stress medicine; keeping diary is said to be good stress relief.

I must confess I started a blog about 5 years ago. It had a grand total of 3 entries. I doubt I could find it, even if i wanted to.

I love the pooh-pooh face you get when a Facebooker asks if you are on Facebook and you say "Nope. Dosen't interest me in the slightest".

It's similar to a WoWer asking if you play World of Warcraft and you answer "No flapping way". It's amazing to see how quickly you cease to exist right before their very eyes :roflmao:

The only thing that could possibly entice me create a MySpace or Facebook profile would have to very attractive
