This download provides the DirectX end-user redistributable that developers can include with their product.

Additional Information

• The DirectX redist installation includes all the latest and previous released DirectX runtime. This includes D3DX, XInput, and Managed DirectX components.
• The DirectX runtime cannot be uninstalled. We recommend Windows Me and Windows XP users create a "System Restore" point before installing. For information on creating a restore point, please refer to the following Microsoft Knowledge Base articles:
  Windows XP: Microsoft Knowledge Base article 310405.
• This update is recommended for users that do not have internet connection during installation
• If you would like the websetup version of the runtime package, please click here.
• Starting with Febraury 2007 SDK release - The redist no longer supports Win9x

Yeah. It contains both x86 and x64 files.

Just download it, extract it, and run the DXSETUP.

I think my dx is dated to modern warefare 2 that installed with game!!do i need to do anyting else like put my nvidia drivers back ?

My system is DirectX 11 but my graphics card is only DirectX 10 capable (hd radeon 3200). How would I go about this in terms of updating?

You could still update with it, shouldn't be a problem. Always good to make sure a restore point is made beforehand if you're unsure about it.

This is for end-users right? I develop nothing.

ps: This is not for end-users, it is for those who develop software and want to send the version of DX that uses there app. You used end-users at top of thread, I believe you are incorrect.
