Where are Windows 7 wallpaper(s) stored.

Just about to do a clean install of Windows, and I want to backup the wallpaper I'm currently using.

Where is it?

Could be anywhere, depends on what wallpaper your using, Right click desktop-Personalize- Click Desktop Background at the top is where they are stored 'Picture Location'

The thing is... I, for some reason, deleted the Wallpaper once I set it as my Desktop Background.

So, If I go to picture location, it points me to where it was stored.

I guess you could do a search for the Picture http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/36599-search-windows-7-a.html then switch to Thumb nail to spot it more easily

I've spent the last 15 minutes searching for it in the 'Picture Location'.

Try searching that folder for "wallpaper" or "background".

install it and go to Display-Desktop, there should be a value called "desktop wallpaper" with a link to your wallpaper you are using currently.
