you're gonna have to find out what motherboard is in that thing...I can't remember if tiny made their own or used 'off the shelf'...all I remember is they were cheap..and for a reason :(
does the cat5 (internet) cable connect to the motherboard itself, or a seperate card in the PC?

I've had the same issue with my laptop. When installing build 7000, 7022, 7048 & 7057 it was not detecting my RaLink wireless adaptor. Build 7068 however, detected before even installing the desktop.

It might be a bit tiresome for you you could try 1 of 2 things;

1, Install the drivers with compatability for XP or Vista (if you haven't tried already).
2, Install the latest build 7068 which solved my issue instantly.

Hopefully 1 of these might help :)

UPDATE: Sorry, just saw about the 'Can't get drivers' have you tried a friend who could download for you?

You'll have to search torrent sites for a build (7068). You can get both x86 (32bit) & x64 (64bit) depending on what's needed.

NOTE: Always look for the torrent with the most posted comments, this will indicate validity of the download.

Well first your hardware needs to be 64bit capable, and with the limited knowledge we have on this Tiny thing (never heard of them), that could be a bit of a problem.
If they were a cheapy kinda deal, I would suspect that the hardware is not 64bit capable but you never know.

About the differences, 64bit can address ultra-gigs of RAM where 32bit can only address 3.3G's. Also programs that are written to take advantage of the 64bit system will run way faster than a 32bit counterpart. 32bit programs run on 64bit but not any faster than a 32bit system, but 64bit is the way of the very near future.
Of course the 32 vs 64bit comparison is allot more complicated than I said here and it's far more than just able to use more RAM and some programs working faster, but that's neither here nor there if your system isn't 64bit capable.

If it is a Athlon 64 processor, can that be run in boards that are only 32bit? If not, then heshould *theoretically* be able to install 64bit....

There are drawbacks as well as advantages to 64bit processing....

64bit processing will take more RAM up on average than it's 32bit coutnerpart - but 64bit processing can *address* more RAM as well.

32bit processing is limited to a 4GB (2 to the power 32, aka 2^23) bits of addressing - that is 4 GB. 64bit is not *double* that - it is 4 GB * 4 GB (2 to the power 64, or 2^64, or 2^(32*2) or 2^32 * 2^32 which is 16 TB....

Since you only have 1 GB on the TINY anyway, stick to 32bit....

It seems like it's a bogus torrent which, is very unfortunate what with the time it may have taken you to download. Any TRUE installation of Windows 7 will have the correct build number in the bottom right.
