29 Updates for Office 2007 ?

All of a sudden I got 32 updates today, with 29 of them for Office 2007.
I've had Office 2007 installed for the past 4 months and this is the first time i'm getting any updates for it

Good morning,

As of the moment, they are up into service pack 2 for office 07. So even after these you will have a few more~~ Not sure why it took that long to get those updates.

You can have Microsoft Office installed for months and not recieve any updates untill you actually activate the program.

I recommend downloading the standalone Microsoft Office SP2 and installing that before you check for updates. It will save you a whole list of updates to install.

I got them straight after I installed it, I just ran check for updates, got one set first, restarted, ran it again and got the next lot.

This is exactly what i did, and yes it surprised me as to how many (Thank god i have unlimited broadband) there were. And yes, i think that was my total as well, as when i do a clean install i always install all my software first and then do my updates. Not sure if this is the best way but i cannot be bothered to sit there and install updates per installed program (i.e. install a program - update it, install second program - update that).

And if what rev1775is true, then it looks like my PC will be a busy bee when i get everything put back on again either tonight or tomorrow.

I think it is also the same for normal windows updates, it can take either a couple of days for all updates to completely download or, if your really lucky like i was, once, you will get them all within 24 hours.

I had activated Office 2007 as soon as i installed it. guess i'll just install SP2 and then check for updates
