Hi,

I've recently gotten XP Mode working and I was wondering something. On my host (windows 7 - 64 bit) I can setup a VPN connection to my work. When I ping a server which is at my office from the host it works.

But when I setup this VPN connection I cannot ping the same server from the XP Mode?

How can I get this working?

ps. I did manage to get internet on XP Mode and setup a new VPN connection from there and when that's connect it works. But thats kind of a long way around ;-)

Hi karuna...
I would like to give you suggestion because now i also used XP Mode on my windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit and i run it by using VMLite Vitrual Machine but i got nothing problem for that so far. if you want to operate XP Mode on your windows 7 working no problem you may try it by using VMLite to install XP Mode on your windows 7. i guarantee that..:D

I got similar situation as you, all I did was setup my router to create the VPN connection for me :) Less headache that way :)

Newbie.
Thanks for replying. This is no offense but I'm having a hard time understanding what you're saying. Do you mean:
a) You use VMLite to run XP Mode and have NO problems, or
b) You use VMLite and have nothing BUT problems?

I'm thick =)

Thanks zzz.
I think there are legions of workarounds/solutions for it. I just want the best one ;-)
(which in my opinion is just to get XP Mode to see my servers that are available via my VPN connection)
