Please help me with my desktop Graphics!!!

before I was installing my brand new GTS250 my PC's rating was 3.5 in system properties. But then I installed my New Card and when I was done with the setup I restated my PC and refreshed my System rating coz it was not available. Then when that was done my rating was 1.0, and the thing that was keeping my system rating so low was my desktop performance for windows Aero. Please what can I install is there a driver missing or what??? Please help me

If you dont have it, download GPU-Z GPU-Z Video card GPU Information Utility and make sure everything on your card shows the correct specs.

Make sure the card is fully seated correctly. If it isnt or if it easy to remove, take it out and make sure the slot is clean and make sure it is put back in and seated completely.

If this was an upgrade to the computer and there was previously no card in there, then the system might still be using the integrated graphics processor (IGP). Check in the Device manager to make sure there are no "yellow-warning-triangles". Also, you can check the BIOS to see if it is using your chipset or the Graphics card.

will tell you in about an Hour just waiting for a download to finish my INTERNET speed in South Africa is 38 KB/per second, then I am going to play games with my GTS 250 and will let you know how it performs. Do you know of a way to get faster Internet speed???

I have asked a fellow member about your Internet speed. He also comes from South Africa, so he may be able to give you some pointers.

As for your WEI problem, make sure that you are using the latest graphics driver. Reboot after installing it and then rerun the WEI assessment. Note that you may need to run this assessment twice.

Rather old, I see... Update to the latest WHQLed set, after that, restart your computer just to make sure that's everything is OK.

Side note: Since Windows 7, there's no need to restart after display adapter driver update, but what the heck, just do it anyway

Hi guys thanks i got that right my rating is cool now thanks a lot but now i have come upon another problem SHIT!!! Please you got to help me on this one to please. When I play games there is red shadows of the game play, look at the attachment.

So get yourself some 3d glasses or change the options to not show anaglyph 3d..
