cannot defragment my disk please help

when i tried to defragment my disk on Windows 7 it says

(disk defragmenter cannot start because the task scheduler service is not running)

when tried to run Task Scheduler, it says ( The remote computer was not found )

Run CMD as admin and type the following at the prompt:

sfc /scannow

Hit enter.

Reboot, then try running defrag again.
