Tascam US-1641 x64

Hey,

I have a HP Pavillion Dv6, running on windows 7 64bit and a Tascam US-1641 Interface. Tascam recently came out with the windows 7 64x driver calling it 2.01. I've been trying to install in, in contact with customer support etc, but nobody can resolve my issue, they think it might be a problem with the OS. I got my computer like 3 weeks ago, and nothing else is wrong with it. One thing I did notice, however is that when the installation is running, I can't go into 'Manage Audio Devices'

Any suggestions? , I really need to get the interface working for my band !

hi swapnil, welcome you can download the vista 64bit driver and run that in compatibility mode http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/316-compatibility-mode.html hope that helps you

Thank you ! That wasn't all it took, but after doing anything and everything I could, it worked ! I didn't even know about that feature on windows 7. THANKS SO MUCH !

hey swapnil, i have a HP dv6 too and i'm just about to buy the same interface as you, the 1641 by tascam. I'm just wondering what exactly you had to do with your laptop to get your interface working properly. Just incase i run into some problems
